1989 TV announced on last LA show (Aug 9) -> release in Q4 2023

TS11 announced on last London show (Aug 17) -> release in Q4 2024

I think this is reasonable enough.

Ah, so this was the secret video she filmed a couple month ago in London

Posted

Kinda obsessed with this, it's so catchy and stuck in my head after 1 listen

Is it just me or is the bridge almost the same as You Belong With Me's prechorus :lakitu:

i just found out she released a mv:rip: is this her single for speak now?

The best video she has ever directed and I usually drag the videos she directs :clap3:

The irony that she takes a framed picture of the Speak Now TV cover in the music video.
A majority of people that buy vinyls just buy them to display them. There was a study that showed that 50% of people that purchase vinyls don’t own a record player. I’m sure a majority of people that bought it framing their Speak Now vinyls as I write this post

The whole reclaiming her masters thing made sense when Scooter owned them and refused to sell them to her. But now they have been sold multiple times and she could definitely buy them now. She doesn’t buy them because it is more financially beneficial to re-record them and resell them for profit. It really undermines this video. Acting like songs like Mean are being locked away and she needs to break them out :bibliahh:

The whole idea for this video is based on is a fantasy. Taylor is not a selfless good guy, she’s just a capitalist

Taylor Lautner in the video    :jonny5:

Now imagine if Part II of this video was both Taylors together on a Back to December (Taylor's Version) video

Girl you know damn well she's too smart to stop the re-recordings, both financially and fan-wise: imagine the backlash if she stopped more than halfway through. Make it make sense.

Not to mention she's clearly and genuinely loving doing this all as a career retrospective...?

There is nothing wrong with reselling her albums, artist due it all the time.

But in this video she is portraying the rerecording process like she is some type of victim being locked away needing to be saved. When the reality of the situation is far from that

Is it just me or does the instrumental on this song sound very Arctic Monkeys..

I know some of u yall will hate me for saying this but it also sounds a LOT like EARLY Maroon 5. Like their debut album (the good album they have). It's a sexy vibe lol

Sounds more like their album Hands All Over. Songs like “Misery”. Over even songs like “Make Me Wonder” from the previous album.

You know songs/music videos aren’t always about present times. She’s clearly looking back to the time of her life when she felt trapped by Scooter.

What ever. Keep blindly worshiping everything she does. Vote for her for everything

I enjoy her music and celebrating past records is fun. But it really shouldn’t be deeper than that. No one is imprisoning her music
