For the next album I want a concept album that’s kinda like romcom soundtrack with narrative. She’d beat the cohesiveness allegations and get that 8.0 BNM

On Monday NYC show she did Julien and IDJCMTD, but swapped those for Summer Love and Shooting Star on Tuesday. She changes like 2-3 songs in the setlist on average. I don’t think you’ll hear any of the ones you missed at the next show except maybe Julien

Yeah that’s what I was told.  I was mainly hoping for shooting star and julien because they seemed plausible

there are a lot of gems in this album!!!

First time playing this in full 

 

 

 

 

- Sonically, it's her most experimental album (?)

- The way she sings is different, I hear more head voice and breathy stuff (?) especially on most of the choruses uhm 

- the album opener being the atrocious Anything to Be With You

- Kollage is giving me anime from the 80s vibes and I'm here for it

- great vocal mix / layers on Shadow

- Psychedelic Switch is stagnant and empty

- So Right did something.. right with that fabulous bridge

- Come Over a cute mid bop

Sadly, I can't get into It much. I hope she goes for a more vocally challenging direction with the next album. We know you can sing don't be shy (girl)
