Thank you it’s so unnecessary. It’s like people feel they have to trash the last album to embrace this new one. I’m personally a massive fan of both albums where i can’t even decide which ones better!

Hoping it grows on me like loneliest time did but no standouts on the first few listens :(

If anything, try listening to it in shuffle. Sometimes track listings can throw you off. I tried to explain this to people about TLnT. That album has such great songs but you just have to listen to them on shuffle so you get to know the songs individually. I understand that artists sometimes list tracks to make an album “flow”, but that can make songs blend together TOO much sometimes. 
 

or maybe it’s just not your tea. And that kinda sucks bc I love it so much and am super satisfied with it.

Listened to the album 5 times on repeat tonight. Tbh I think I like this better than Emotion, but that's not saying too much because I was never as big an Emotion stan as everyone else. The only miss for me is Come Over which just doesn't make as much an impression as everything else. Shadow is lower-tier for me but it's still solid and I really enjoy it. The NEVER OVER NEVER NEVER OVER hook in ATBWY is kind of grating but the instrumental really saves it. 

 

My two faves rn are Aeroplanes and Put It To Rest.

i love all of her albums but this is the most instant an album of hers has been since emotion for me. it took me a few listens to connect with dedicated and the loneliest time. its sooo good omg

First Time is literally one of the most forgettable songs in her entire discog.
