Noodles Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Initial listens are giving her best album since Emotion and her most interesting project 2
Jaimon Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 I might delete Aeroplanes and Weekend Love, not so sure about the opening track either. The rest is sublime.
Peroxide Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Carly has evolved into a sonic space which doesn’t really excite me or interest me anymore… which is a shame. I still think she’s incredibly gifted and if she wanted to make Emotion Side C, D and E she could… but I appreciate that’s not what she wants to do. Aside from Kamikaze and Psychedelic Switch there’s nothing else here that I would willingly revisit. 1 1
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 The opening track is giving ME! what was she thinking 3
luckystrike Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 I don't know if I was not in the mood but the first half of this album was not it for me, the second half definitely picked up and gave me classic Carly vibes I do appreciate her experimenting a bit and maybe first half will grow on me on relisten but on first listen it's pretty much my least fave album by her
Sadie Saxton Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 I finished my listen and the second half of the album is fantastic. One user said everything from Shy Boy to Put It To Rest was great and they were correct also loved Kamikaze as well
4Walls Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 I def agree that the second half is better than the first. Like beyond actually lol
RideOrDie Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 the way she insists on making her "side B"s better than the As at this rate i'm probably gonna skip the next album and wait for the companion project to drop like . The Grammiest Time is a great album while The Floppiest Time has like 3 good songs 2
Sky Engineer Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Delete Anything to Be with You, Aeroplanes, and Weekend Love and It will be an immaculate album 1
Likingstars Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 The second half of the album really ATE. Its giving Kylie and Madonna late 90s early 00s
Colbygg Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 TLT1 triumphs this for me. Although I can appreciate more of the low key moments on this project. Stadium Love is my fave.
Edibles. Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 I didn’t get Kamikaze the first time… but girl. The second time? It’s a fantastic song.
Lachlan Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 I really wish people would stop blatantly lying and saying Emotion Side B is better than the OG. 1
ATRL Moderator Verge of Obscene Posted July 29, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted July 29, 2023 aeroplanes is the only dud 1
glacier76 Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 I have been listening to Kollage on a loop. So beautiful and lush and gorgeous. 1

It's just that it shows like the thought behind this was "I have 13 more amazing tracks so let's put them out" rather than "let's make an album", that's why I said it sounds like a leftovers collection. Still, most pop girls wish they had albums that sounded this great How are they leftovers when they don't fit in the "The Loneliest Time" theme? 3 hours ago, Sky Engineer said: Delete Anything to Be with You, Aeroplanes, and Weekend Love and It will be an immaculate album I don't particularly hate Weekend Love but I'm down to sacrifice it if it would rid of the other two tracks.
