BlackoutZone Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 I've been toying with this idea of completely revisiting tracklists of both, because Carly said there is no clear black and white in sound to separate them, but in my opinion if we tried we could. By their titles, The Loveliest Time sounds like a cheerful, more upbeat record whilst The Loneliest Time embraces reflection. I think by both sound and lyrical content, songs from both projects could be well separated and we could create 2 albums with different vibes. I'd love to hear some tracklists ideas for that from everyone Side note, to me The Loveliest Time is a much more bold, fresh and even experimental record for her. It's almost as if The Loneliest Time was a b-side album to this. I wonder if she is somehow still unsure with stepping outside of her comfort zone in main projects or what
Supervillain Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Why do I feel like she did this on purpose? We know damn well she doesn't give a **** about sales, she wanted to gift us a week in advance... the actual mother
postergirl Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Come Over is so cute! It's the bouncy sister of Want You In My Room.
Kamil24 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Oh wow I missed so much info on this, and it's coming so soon!
Vespertine Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 For those who have heard already… if I was disappointed in The Loneliest Time, is this album pretty similar in the ways that Emotion Side B and Dedicated Side B were to their parent albums? I love Carly so so much, but TLT mostly felt like more of the same to me. I could never really get into it.

This feels like a growth and the production on a lot of songs feels a lot more intricate than The Loneliest Time. 2

Supervillain Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 I don't understand why Carly isn't pitching songs for k-pop, After Last Night would be a smash if some big girl group released it
