I mean she already used curtains a few times during the OTRII tour iirc, and that tour still grossed $250M.

That date was still 75% or so sold out, had another month to go to sell more tickets and just covering up unsold sections would've been a cheaper solution instead of cancelling outright. For her bank account and especially for her fans.

Your sound approach is refreshing. There are multiple options that would be more viable than cancelling but people will stick to the narrative that brings them excitement. This thread is probably the most exciting thing to happen to some in awhile so the Hive should let them believe whatever narrative that makes them feel alive. Debating with people who are firm in their assumption is as good as yelling at a brick wall.

Most celebrities cancel tours for different reason - this thread will swiftly backfire. Let's hope all the Pitts fans are well as music often take people out of their most darkest places and who knows what Beyonce meant to them. :gaycat3:

I had friends going to this date :'(

I'm actually quite surprised at it being cancelled, there must be a serious reason behind it because she has cancelled about 5-10 shows max in her entire 25-year career. :dancehall:

Their point is since they didn’t cancel Kansas City which was selling less than Pittsburgh, then it’s apparent the reason for the cancellation isn’t tickets sales

This pretty much.

Idc, as long as she doesn’t cancel the 2nd Chicago date then she can cancel the rest lol

Maybe they're expecting the audience to flock to surrounding dates?

The surrounding dates are basically sold out (NJ,ATL,Boston,DC)

More touring power than Gagas ugly ass

That's a ZTP violation, Britney stan.  Worry about your fave cancelling Vegas residencies and not having a $150M tour like every iconic popstar.

We know Ren's gross will be TIDAL'd anyway. I wouldn't put it past them to include the gross from this canceled date in the final tally.

I hope the Pittsburgh fans are able to buy tickets in other cities If there's any available next to them (I don't understand much about US' geography).

I remember how sad It was for me when Lover Fest was cancelled after I already bought tickets and flight tickets months in advance after waiting her in my country for 10 years :chick3:

Her poor fans.

The feeling of your show gets cancelled is the worst feeling ever.

I hope they'll reschedule it.

We will never know the real reason why it was canceled, but I am personally not buying "logistics and scheduling issues" as that excuse just does not make sense to me. This show was scheduled months in advance, so what exactly would cause logistics and scheduling issues last minute like this?

At the same time, I agree with what another poster said; if she does not cancel her MO shows, which are doing much worse than this one was, then we will know that maybe there was some other extenuating circumstance beyond poor ticket sales.

Either way, this tour is amazing and is the best of the year, plus will end its run with an incredible gross. :alexz:

It kinda ruins her reputation as a touring force :deadbanana2:

Imagine cancelling your show due to lack of demand :deadbanana4:

I knew things were getting dicey when she started using her mom as a seat filler.

Huh? No, it does not. Cancelling one show does not erase the 60 other sold-out shows. :rip:

Do they look happy to you? So much musical output and all the success in the world but the stans still seem miserable

It's just one cancelled date, it's never that serious. 7 pages for what?
