cockatoo Posted June 30, 2023 Share Posted June 30, 2023 I think it's fine when used as an adjective but it irritates me when people use it as a noun like "look at those homosexuals". Also, this is a bit weird, but it irks me when people pronounce it h/ŏ/mosexual and not h/oʊ/mosexual (short o instead of a long o) and maybe that's because that's the way older people here say it (and they're more likely to be homophobic).
