Isn’t the cutoff in early October?  I don’t think any date 4 months later is too early.

Would she really attend this, hop on a plane to Tokyo, arrive the morning of the 6th (because time zones) and then perform the next day?  I hope the girl is sleeping.

AOTY is definitely going to a non-mainstream album, they'd avoid Taylor, SZA, Olivia, Miley controversy, same for SOTY.

SZA is definitely sweeping R&B categories, whereas Taylor is sureshot for Pop Album, Miley might take ROTY this time...

So Taylor can go and sweep up her grammys before she goes on tour :jonny5:

Why is Taylor a sure shot with pop album?  Both Olivia and Taylor have won that award the same number of times. (Olivia also has more pop category Grammys than Taylor)

Jon Batiste is releasing an album and he might be a surprise AOTY winner again.

Because Midnights was a successful album and with all the hype around the album, both Olivia and Taylor are competing for Pop categories (Pop Vocal and Pop Solo)

I feel like Midnights wont win any pop categories. Pop is VERY competitive this year. Best Pop Vocal album is going to be between Olivia and Kelly Clarkson. Kelly is a favorite in this category as she won it several times and chemistry is critically acclaimed. Best Pop Solo Performance is likely going to go to Flowers or Vampire over Anti-Hero as well. The pop duo award is practically locked for PinkPantheress and Ice Spice. It's the perfect way to award them both without giving any of them BNA win.

BPVA:

GUTS - Olivia Rodrigo (Runner up)

Midnights - Taylor Swift

TRUSTFALL - P!nk

Chemistry - Kelly Clarkson (Winner)

Subtract - Ed Sheeran

BPSP:

Mine - Kelly Clarkson

Vampire - Olivia Rodrigo (Runner up)

Anti-Hero - Taylor Swift

Flowers - Miley Cyrus (Winner)

Kill Bill - SZA

WHERE SHE GOES - Bad Bunny

Kelly isn't winning BPVA with zero hits. That category has always gone to albums with multiple hitS in recent years. Even when Kelly herself won, she had hits under her belt. BPVA will be between 'Midnights' and 'GUTS'.

I feel like Anti-Hero will win and finally avenge Taylor in SOTY.

ROTY is likely Flowers, but Vampire could snatch. Is there a chance Last Night could win?
