Flower moon flops, Eras stays on top but a huge drop.

$23M debut for Flower Moon, not good no matter how you spin it. $31M 2nd weekend for Eras, down 66%, despite not playing during the weekdays.

November needs to roll around to get the box office exciting again.

feels like scorsese's movies aren't built to be hits unless they're more fun genre-y things as opposed to Prestige oscar-chasers.

gangs, didn't double the budget

aviator, didn't double the budget

hugo, didn't double the budget

silence, box office lower than the budget

irishman, well, it was barely in theaters but probably would've gone the same way

vs. crime thriller departed, psychological thriller shutter island, crime black comedy wolf of wall street.

She could've released Era's movie on Oct. 20. So by next week she could've have the No. 1 Album, No.1 Song and No. 1 Movie at the same week. Then released the Eras Tour boxscore to be no. 1 in touring at the same week or month-end. She has literally owned America.

Leonardo DiCaprio is often called last movie start because he made movie like revenant gross half billion.

Taylor's stardom is just other level. She is selling movie on her name. A concert movie. No actor besides superhero or brand movie can open movie like her.

He’s directed concert movies himself, I don’t think he has a problem with them.

Oh wow she could have #1 on Hot100, BB200 and #1 in same week, if she had released 1989 a week earlier
