MI7 just looked like yet another action film

TGM at least had flying plane sequences or whatever and not every blockbuster has that

Mission impossible doing pretty low numbers. A shame it might flop, cuz it’s arguably the best action movie since pre-pandemic years. :rip:

Elemental's legs have been really good, if it blows up on D+ it might be able to break even in the eyes of Disney.

I mean has MI ever been a massive franchise? I guess everyone expected these huge numbers because of TGM.

Its performing on par with other MI films and doing well WW sans China (like most Hollywood films are). TGM did warp peoples brains into thinking Tom Cruise was the savior of the box office when in reality people just love military movies and were nostalgia crazy for Top Gun.

Barbie and Oppenheimer will be released in 5 days, this is looking to be a HISTORICAL weekend at the box office. Barbie projected to open to the BIGGEST OPENING of 2023 while Oppenheimer is looking 70 Million.
