I expected it to do well, but the numbers it did (and is still doing) is mindblowing :deadbanana2:

I see more artistry in the panic attack's scene depicted  in Inside out 2 than in all of these Marvel mash ups ( combined).

I'm gonna say it: deserved :clap3:

Interesting

How is it so much bigger than the original one?

All thanks to the magnificent Amy Poehler.

Good. Disney trying to force Pixar to be their streaming experiment was so dumb :rip: Turning Red and Soul would have done well if released properly

I love the original, but expected so much more from this sequel :chick3:

Happy about its numbers, tho.

Because it turned into an undeniable animation classic after the release with the help of word to mouth and streaming.

Early tracking for Beetlejuice is looking good. If it's well-received it's going to do some serious numbers.

I wonder how high it ends with us will open with. looks like the last movie marketed primarily as an adult romance to open with 30 mil+ was, mmm, fifty shades freed?

So when is Incredibles 3 getting announced

Anyway, it will decline from I2 unless they finally age up the kids as everyone expected them to in I2

If they serve the same "evil genius billionaire holds a grudge against Supers" plot, it won't even hit $1B

I know Colleen Hoover is very popular with a certain demographic but I was not expecting such big numbers for this.

If this doesn't convince Amazon to give A Simple Favor 2 a theatrical release then…

On second thought, I think they'll never age up the Incredibles kids, the concept is just way too marketable and each family member captures a different target demographic at the box office. It's kinda like The Simpsons. And Brad Bird himself has said before that he's just not interested in aging them up.

To be fair they could still do a lot with their current selves, Violet still has Tony not knowing she's a Super, what will Dash do with his newfound freedom as a legal Super like in his school races and stuff, the family teaching Jack-Jack to control his powers, etc.

Let's see if they change their mind though!

But one thing's for sure, they need a fresh new villain with a different motive for once :dies:

Im surprised this movie would open so high. Like popular books are everywhere but these numbers seems suspicious for a movie that literally had no mainstream conversation until this week. Or it has a huge fan base and it'll collapse next week?

Blake ready to show the other girls her true power!

superior cinemascore vs. all the 50 shades as well.

Colleen has a big fan base. I offered one of her books to my mom and she can't stop reading them now
