CaptainMusic Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Glad Disney finally has another smash so the conservatives can fume
fridayteenage Posted June 15 Posted June 15 the only minus is disney will be like "yes, we def need to double down on franchise franchise franchise!" 3
Kylizzle Posted June 17 Posted June 17 "No one wants sequels" cohort lost real bad. Last year's "original" movie dominance (2 existing IPs and a Nolan biopic) was never gonna hold. 3

BNF91 Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) Inside Out $21M Monday.. dropping less than 50% from Sunday The weekdays for these Pixar summer sequels are always just massive. Edit: Make that $22.2M Edited June 18 by BNF91 3
BNF91 Posted June 19 Posted June 19 $29M Tues is nuts Ahead of Incredibles 2. Would be 5th biggest 1st Tuesday of all-time (non-holiday). Astonishing 1

BNF91 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 $30M Wednesday I- It will be at $350M by Sunday at this rate. Nuts 1
BNF91 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 A real chance at a $100M 2nd wknd. My god. However, the weekdays have been so massive, burning off a lot of demand. Summer weekend jumps are also small, so I'm not gonna put my hopes up for a $100M 2nd wknd, at least until I see a Friday number. Overseas is looking at another massive weekend with more major markets opening. Current projection of $140M for the 2nd OS wknd Globally this could do $220-250M in its 2nd wknd Frozen 2 better be shaking cause... Sis is not safe with that all-time animated title.
ATRL Moderator supaspaz Posted June 20 ATRL Moderator Posted June 20 This is so crazy. I wish it was a better movie, but it was a cute, definitely better than Frozen 2, so I wouldn’t mind it snatching the title.
Migs30283 Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Looks like Deadpool & Wolverine will not be domestic box office champion even though they open north of $200 million. 1
MusicLoverDude Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Inside Out 2 was great so this is truly deserved. The word of mouth is going to keep this a hit for awhile 1
