Like all the major studios seem to be bleeding this year for the most part if I'm correct? :deadbanana2:

Disney

Ant Man — Underperformance

Guardians of the Galaxy — Success

The Little Mermaid — Moderate Success

Elemental — Underperformance

Indiana Jones — Flop

Haunted Mansion — Flop

Paramount

80 for Brady — Underperformance

Scream VI — Success

Dungeons & Dragons — Flop

Transformers — Underperformance

 Mission Impossible — Underperformance

Warner Brothers

Magic Mike — Bomb

Shazam! — Bomb

The Flash — Bomb

Barbie — Smash

Universal

Knock at the Cabin — Success

Cocaine Bear — Success

Super Mario Bros Movie — Smash

Renfield — Massive Bomb

Book Club — Bomb

Fast X — Underperformance

Given their budgets idk how Indiana Jones and Haunted Mansion aren't considered bombs as well.

You're right about Indiana Jones, that was a mistake on my end, but Haunted Mansion just came out and could technically have legs (though I don't think it will) so that's why I didn't wanna call it a bomb quite yet.

Haunted Mansion and Elemental will probably play well on D+ and could break even in the ancillary markets. Underperformances for sure, but not bombs.

I swear i'm gonna be truly mad if Oppenheimer ends up hurting Barbie in Japan somehow :rip:

I've always liked the cross-marketing between both films since we got a lot of funny memes out of it but i couldn't care less about Oppenheimer (have no intention of seeing it, at least for now) and if that movie becomes a problem for Barbie that's when it stops being funny :biblio:

Oppenheimer now on track to hit $900 million. Who would have thought? :deadbanana4: And that's without a Japan release date too!

Both Barbie and Oppenheimer are seeing huge numbers here, Oppenheimer is already outpacing Avatar 2 and Barbie is doing even better. :clap3: However Oppenheimer dethroned Barbie in 2nd weekend due to pricier tickets with just -12,6% decrease, glad they both went #1

Barbie is a true juggernaut. Those numbers are crazy. $600M+ domestic is definitely locked now.
