They could've picked Fortnight or Hold My Hand and they didn't! :clap3:They chose wisely.

:superman:Funny how all marvel needed to do was give the fans what they wanted and it worked. Yeah it's lowbrow humor & Nonstop action… but that's what people & Marvel fans want from Deadpool.

Anyways, Another Smash for Marvel. And one of thier biggest ever.

Don't they need more than one blockbuster success to say that lol

They have had 4 success in the past 2 years. Guardians 3 last Summer, Wakanda Forever & Multiverse of Madness did over 850M + 995M. and even Thor had over 750M.  The only true flop they had was Marvels & Quantumania. But no other movie studio is dropping 700M+ hits back to back like Disney/MS did post pandemic. Lol

The Crow deserves better. It's not as bad as the reviews are making it out to be.

Lionsgate is gonna go bankrupt this year :rip:

The Crow and Borderlands are massive bombs, and they still have Megalopolis coming up :rip:

That's what they get for releasing awful movies with no effort and or made by an old man hiring "cancelled" actors :clap3:

They are not the sole producer on these movies (it's kind of their business model). Sure it's not great but they won't lose that much.

Summer has been quite healthy and it looks like fall/winter will be just as fruitful.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Joker: Folie à Deux both will be smashes in the next two months with $100m+ debuts. Joker 2 maybe $135-150M+. $1B+ WW seems doable if not likely.

Venom 3, Gladiator 2, Wicked all should be ticket sellers too (though Gladiator 2 has a steep hill to climb to break even with that astronomical $310M+ budget), with Moana 2 looking to potentially be another $1B juggernaut.

December will have Mufasa and Sonic 3 both set to be hits as well (despite the critical reception towards the Lion King remake, there's no reason to think that Mufasa will bomb).

Alien Romulus has done quite well already going well past Covenant's total WW gross and with a bit left in the tank, 2nd biggest Hollywood film of the year in China too. $310-320M+ WW finish

Marvel has an opportunity to catapult from Deadpool & Wolverine's success to a successful start of Phase 5 with Captain America and Thunderbolts. The movies just need to be good.

It Ends With Us is smashing too and looks set to reach $300M+ WW.

Twisters crushed it domestically but was an utter embarrassment internationally, I think it just crawled past $100M OS. I think they will still greenlight a sequel, with similar budget if not just a touch smaller. I'd imagine a sequel would see a big jump domestically given the reception of this one.

I feel so bad for FKA twigs but 'The Crow' is officially a box-office disaster. It had a budget of $50M and only grossed $13.2M to date. On top of that the entire movie was panned. 22% on rotten tomatoes... It was bad for Lionsgate.

They finally stopped "lore building" and filler films/shows to "eventually" tie in to future movies and embraced giving fans what they want immediately.
