Hello fellow livies! I’ve been a lurker for awhile but thought I’d join in on the fun. Anyway, fingers crossed for my presale in Seattle and Phoenix

I can see why her team is so hesitant to officially send a second single to pop radio. It’s a huge gamble.

 

BIR is her most stable song on streaming, isn’t collapsing, and has 20 million radio audience. But the callouts are poor so choosing it could have them lose in the long run.

 

GIB is also showing potential and is currently in the top 50 trending songs on tik tok. It’s extremely stable on streaming despite it being lower than BIR on all playlists and having ZERO airplay. But choosing it would kill all of BIR’s momentum. 

 

If I were Geffen I’d go with GIB. It’s fresher, has a catchier chorus and would do well on pop radio. BIR can be the brutal of the era. I feel like BIR had its moment

A little more time with this and my favorites are a little more solidified  Pretty Isn't Pretty (so underrated I feel), Love is Embarrassing, Lacy, Making the Bed and Ballad are probably absolute favorites but Guts is such a consistent record throughout I'm sure rankings will change
