I still think that not having a huge smash like GFY is what it is hurting it the most, but I think this time the era will last longer. Get Him Back will probably do great and we have a big world tour this time around. Still these numbers are great anyway

GUTS is def local. i wasn’t looking at the global stats anymore since the 2nd day or so, but i didn’t think it was that bad

 

i feel like this could potentially make the era last longer though. the positive side of not having a G4U is that she can still push some singles until the world tour, and i can see some of them repeaking or have a new peak. which sadly didn’t happen to SOUR tracks despite them being so popular. they were too popular by release.

Any ideas on who/what Lacy is about?

in an interview she said lacy is from a poem she wrote for when she enrolled a writing class. just turned it to a song. so it could be no one in particular but more of a feeling she has. the way it’s so hard to decode will drive her fans crazy though. because generally her songs are easy to understand.

2nd week is 100k vs SOUR’s 180k something 

 

i can’t say i’m surprised, SOUR had a big smasha and wasn’t relying on physicals. half of GUTS 300k are physical copies so it’s bound to fall.

 

still, i wish this would do at least more. oh well. let’s hope it doesn’t fall too hard by next month (maybe delaying the deluxe is smart), and hope ghb! kinda catches on. for now, it’s confusing because for a focus track, it seems they’re unsure of which to push between this & bir?

I get that this doesn't have a g4u but whose fault is that other than her teams? Should've gone with better single choices but still she's doing amazing, hopefully it stabilizes this week

there's clearly none

 

in SOUR we have a clear "Traitor"  as the standout, and "good 4 u"'s been smashing prior

 

its been a week now and all album tracks remain around the same, numbers wise, and thats okay

 

 

"The Grudge" isnt pulling ENOUGH viral streams to be an outlier.

 

 

There will be no smash, but that doesnt mean its still not successful.
