sadly i don’t think get him back! would smash like how some were expecting it to be. i think part of g4u virality was the shock of how it sounds. now, people expect this sound from her, it’s g4u 2.0 mixed with bir?

 

i mean unless radio is really here for it. but idk, i think if it’s sticking with people it would grow more on streaming. without the #1 on TTH let’s see how it’ll perform. bir? is higher now and rightfully so.

 

speaking of, that’s why her experimental songs (deja vu, bir?) are such growers, they’re different but they’re still catchy pop songs. deja vu is outlasting g4u kinda…

 

anyway, this album is doing very well than expected esp after vampire and sophomore slump allegations. atrl is tripping that SOUR will be her “last successful era” because you don’t know what she’ll come up with next. if she switches it up next era, it could be the next shock factor that could lead to smashing. you’ll never know & i’ll never count it out, esp that this album is already better than SOUR.
