I fear she's going to do get him back! and get dragged on twitter for the vocal performance in that song

My20sBlues Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 It's a great album, it's doing good numbers and getting good reviews, and I hope Olivia continues to prefer making concise albums rather than going for hits.
ImperialCuntess Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Why isn't scared of my guitar not on the standard/streaming? She better start the acoustic section on tour with it.

Her personality and image do not match her angsty music. I just feel a disconnect with that. is it because she's not pure caucasian blonde?

Truth Teller Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 I really enjoyed this. I was surprised because I didn't like her debut other than brutal and I'm definitely not her audience but I liked most of this and kept songs to revisit Highlights: all-american ***** (her best song tbh) logical lacy love is embarrassing the grudge Also bad idea right? really grew on me, that pre-chorus is undeniable. Still hate vampire and have no idea why it was chosen as the lead

KatyPrismSpirit Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 I just want her to perform vampire at the VMAs 1

Billionaire Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Her US Spotify power is so insane cause how are you sending non-singles & album tracks to #1 nnnn
Jake Frank Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Solid project! 1. Lacy 2. Vampire 3. All-American *****
Starkboy Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 She just needs to start with Vampire at the VMAs (and recreate the music video!) and then switch to get him back
georgechxng Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 i feel like performing vampire when the song already peaked would be dumb.
QueenofCopyPaste Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Okay considering everything, this is impressive

Sam96 Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 great album! liv came tf through! anyone have any tea on when the deluxe comes out??
State of Grace. Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) I finally finished my first full listen and I thought it was quite good. I loved Sour and spammed it a lot, although it's very derivative and lacked some identity imo, but I think Guts is a better album overall without the same highs (the ballads especially). It is much more interesting lyrically and sonically. It seems like she's leaning further into the grunge-y pop-rock sound which is nice although I don't think she really has the bratty grunge personality like Avril. And I hate how the art direction for the entire album was extremely boring, bland, and Sour Side B when it had so much more potential. Bad Idea Right? remains my favorite and I wish the album was more like it. It's her best video as well. Pretty Isn't Pretty, Homeschooled, Making The Bed, Love Is Embarrassing, The Grudge, All-American B*tch, and Teenage Dream were some other standouts on first listen. Also I can't unhear Joanne at the beginning of AAB though but the way it transitions into BIR is chefs kiss! Edited September 9, 2023 by State of Grace. 1
