They didn't even try. again, the whole plan kinda made no sense. Vampire in July? rush releasing bad idea in August? nothing in the weeks before the album? meh Thankfully she came through with quality and numbers paid off. 1

Starkboy Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Now hopefully the tracks manage to stay stable SOUR had good 4 u which was absolutely smashing at the time. Ideally a track needs to take off on TikTok.
QueenofCopyPaste Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Just send get him back! to radio tbh and premiere its video (if theres one) Vampire already has peaked on radio. Perfect timing. 1

Zylo Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 I listened through the whole thing on a long drive. I love this albummore than sour I fear but I’ll wait for the novelty to wear off to truly say that
Julián Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) This is a great record. Much better than Sour It's full of personality Edited September 9, 2023 by Julián
BuzzCharts Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 They probably didn't launch another single/video because they didn't have any idea which song the GP would like. None of them are obvious smashes. I could see making the bed passing get him back! on streaming within a week.

Love it but no Get Him Back = late summer /fall Making the Bed = fall to winter Love is Embarrassing is another option too
thatsmydemi Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 It's not a bad idea to wait and see what track tiktok people pick up, then push it as single 2

Prismee Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 making the bed is the obvious smash imo, it's neither abrasive pop-rock nor a snoozy ballad, kinda the perfect midtempo sound that could smash (especially in SEA).
BuzzCharts Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 she still has a perfect record of songs charting

QueenofCopyPaste Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Making the Bed will be her Wildest Dreams I swear though.. If Get Him Back doesnt get a music video....
QueenofCopyPaste Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 If she's performing Vampire on the VMAS Imma need her to recreate the music video a bit Cmon Liv.. Give us bloodstains, give us theatrics, give us drama and tragedy
Luckitty Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 get him back is already the "focus track", and they seem to be pushing it on streaming playlists so why not send it to radio i don't understand her team sometimes... 1

drivers license Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 ghb! is a great focus track because it captures the essence of GUTS pretty well without being too divisive. it’s bratty & packs a lot of personality & humor which is present in this album so much more than her debut. i just need the music video to be as fun as bir too. which song do we think she’s performing at the VMAs?
Tusk Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Gave the album a listen. I’m just not connected to her and that’s okay. Her personality and image do not match her angsty music. I just feel a disconnect with that. 3
Lil Mxnster Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 GUTS feels like a superb mature extension of her debut album and I'm really intrigued to see what she does next Score (FIRST LISTEN): 7,7
Acuminatus Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 GUTS is superior to SOUR for me, well done Olivia! Though I wish there were more catchy melodies in this album. Not sure what the replayability of some of her songs is going to be like for this album.
