Sorry If this question has been asked before. Is there some other singer on the second verse of Lacey or is Olivia simply altering her voice?

This is a record to be felt. I really appreciate that honestly. I don’t think Olivia writes exactly for me, even though i’m 3 years older than her, I feel such maturity from her music that talks to me if I need it to. The production of her music just hits right with whatever i’m feeling right now. I dont know with i’ll listen to this again but I feel the emotions she puts out with her song and music, and they feel so present it’s a nice feeling. She has a gift and I really appreciate that personally. I’ll listen to this album again.

I am 6 years older than her and why I like her (moreso this album than Sour) is that I do feel I can access some of it and relate and not feel like I’m listening to some young girl whining. Her references making me nostalgic for being a kid also work in her favour. She’s making stuff appealing to the older Gen Z too

I truly think they should have picked one between get him back and bad idea right and went all out. Releasing both one after another is not a good idea, actually.

I didn’t like Lacy, I feel it has a thematic similar to Heather by Conan but less melodic and more forced idk

I love making the bed my face of the ballads atm, pretty isn’t pretty is excellent and the lyrics are very mature and not cringy like most songs about that theme are

ballad of a homeschooled it’s a highlight, but the title it’s corny imo, I love that it says suicide so many times wish it was called social suicide skdkdkf

bad idea right it’s top 3 on Olivia’s discography so there’s that

The songs are kinda wordy at some places like love is embarassing, I feel she was going for storytelling but I think the melody on the verses is not strong enough

the grude will need to grow on me, I hate that it’s called “the grudge” I like the buildup and delivery but some verses feel flat

teenage dream it’s a lovely song

overall 7.9/10 on my third listen, now I’m only playing the songs I feel like replaying (like 8 of the 12)

Get Him Back and The Grudge seem to be the two I’ll be listening to

It's good. She's very kiddie bop though... it reminds me of Britney Spears debut albums, her two. I guess she'll grow and evolve. Sky's the limit for her <3

They all say that it gets better
It gets better the more you grow
Yeah, they all say that it gets better
It gets better, but what if I don't?

Also, why isn't Olivia not getting an ATRL logo? It's both Cardi B-related

Really impressed with this, Olivia just displays so much personality through her storytelling and vocal delivery. Every song is a highlight tbh

ballad of a homeschooled girls 2nd verse killed me :deadbanana4:

Oh, she killed it. A few of the ballads are a bit clunky, but every time she cranks up the rock guitar, it takes off. And she can write a bridge like nobody's business. Great job, Miss Rodrigo! "Love Is Embarrassing" needs to be a single.
