peso pluma surprise flop on this number, consider he released on thursday that still would have been under 100k. bad bunny already did above that on debut x 100pre, the next superstar they said.

#55 Want Me Dead (ft. 21 Savage)

#73 Wit Da Racks (ft. 21 Savage, Travis Scott)

Thug really bombed even with all of hip-hop's elite behind him.

Tried to upset Gunna and almost his entire album is still charting on Apple's Top 100, plus fukumean is going to be a staple through the Fall.

Do we have the breakdown? I was hoping Kelly would outsell Ateez for #1 pure sales this week. And congrats to Kim too.

I'm sorry for being ignorant about the topic, but what's the beef between Gunna and Thug, isn't Gunna on Thug's label? Is it because of the serious RICO charges?

i am so shocked kelly overperformed despite the little promo. i guess it's a testament to how good the album is. i hope it has some legs throughout the summer. really happy for kelly and for us fans.

That, and the power of ATRL's promo.

Yeah no worries, it’s a bit of a doozy. They were both apart of the charges of RICO and that the label operates as a gang involved in multiple crimes. Gunna took what is called an “Alford plea,” which allows him to admit he’s guilty yet maintain his innocence. It got him out of jail and time suspended for the charge he admitted to. In the end though, most accuse him of ‘snitching’ though he didn’t explicitly testify anyone was guilty of crimes accused.

It’s only speculation there is beef between the two, though. Between Drake and other collaborators posting Thug’s album countdown the day Gunna dropped, and rumors he wanted to release to overshadow. And Thug hasn’t addressed anything at all. The songs on BIB are recorded prior to his imprisonment.

US really saved Kelly from a tragic flop as she debuted outside Top 30 everywhere else.

Probably because we are in the streaming era now and in 2011 we were still in the high of the digital era:gaycat2:

In the streaming era :rip:

It's impressive and he's been slaying for years now and he won't back down. He's not even doing massive promo like the other acts :rip:

It's Disgusting but still impressive

Touring is the biggest promo for country artists.

There's no need to act like this is bad. She's still doing 99% better than anyone trying to put out and sell their music.

Considering Kim never had a charting album nor single before this era and now she has a #1 hit song, another charting single on the H100 and an album going top 40 potentially, this is great.

I haven't played the album yet, but if there are some catchy, single-worthy tracks, she can release them and may have the album have legs and reach even higher peaks.

This doesn’t have vinyl right? This is way better than I expected and we’ve seen from Bebe’s album that tagging a big smash onto your album doesn’t guarantee a high debut (love both though)

Will Republic drop her after this?

probably. Alone flopped. They probably had high expectations for that song and in turn the album but it fell extremely flat.
