+1 to this whole post. People especially in stan-world need to chill and not bully her. That explains her inconsistency. She’s busy with her family issues that are important.

I can understand her actual fans getting frustrated from the lack of content and even people making a well-meaning lighthearted joke about her breaks once in a while... but the way that so many people on this forum and on Twitter relentlessly insulted her and gleefully mocked her even after it became known that her mom had cancer is honestly sickening.

 

In anything close to an ideal world, this news would make some people on here look inwards and realize how soulless it is to make your entire online personality revolve around hating on people you've never even met, but this is ATRL so unfortunately I have no real hope for that.

This is awful and I'm very sorry for her. I did not know about this and have made comments joking about her career situation, which were now insensitive in hindsight. I regret them and will change my behavior for the better from now on.

we truly doesn't know what anyone is going through in life

 

now it all makes sense. I thought it was just some bad management by her team and label and her being a perfectionist but I understand everything now. who would want to kick start a solo career with both your parents sick? I feel for her

You sound miserable. There can be balance between grief/stress and release. You might live as a monolith of one emotion but don’t put that on others.
