cloudbusting Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Red Velvet overall, but f(x) is a close second + 4 Walls is the greatest kpop song of all time f(x) just didn’t start getting consistently great material until Pink Tape and that holds them back a bit comparatively (not that they don’t have some gems on their early releases but they’re not as consistent)
Kylizzle Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 (edited) SNSD for singles. F(x) for albums. RV had a moment with The Perfect Red Velvet era but they lost it with Zimzalabim. Edited June 14, 2023 by Kylizzle
Eternium Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 SNSD > Aespa > Red Velvet > f(x) f(x) has a weak vocal mix overall (their highlight being Jessica’s less talented sister was always a kii) and they had moments of brilliance, but everything was so dated. Red Velvet showed a ton of potential, but their discography is heavy on filler and they never launched their Japanese careers. Aespa are low on filler, but they just don’t release music. And SNSD are untouchable in K-pop and basically birthed everything. Even B-sides like “Way To Go” are better than discographies.
Indie Go Mind Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Red Velvet for sure. Such an absolutely solid discography that I have listened to in full from start to finish!
