She always gave me Pink vibes. An Underdog but always able to sustain herself in the charts :gaycat4:

Best comparison I can think of, particularly around the Who Knew, U + Ur Hand time when she had to build herself back up on radio.

Plssss I'm screaming at everyone kiing at her being "dropped by Capitol for being a flop" only for her to sign with one of the biggest and best labels right now. Huge radio + streaming push coming for her next lead dd.

I just hope she gives us something like IICHL instead of releasing something safe like Flowers and working with Harry's stale and boring producers.

An upgrade :clap3:

Why are people dragging her over the 25M movie thing?

Its hard to believe the movie cost 25M when even a lot of Hollywood movies with an A List lead (who requires a huge salary) cost way less than 25M

A star is born cost 36M and had two A-list leads to pay and the remaining cast and crew, location expenses, set expenses etc.

Triangle of Sadness -- Budget $15M

Bombshell (starring three A-list lead actresses) -- Budget $30M

Pitch Perfect -- Budget $12M

Hustlers (starring Jennifer Lopez) -- Budget $20M

The rumours of Halsey's movie making Halsey's label lose 25M have to be untrue.

It screams the label trying to justify their issues. Capitol had its moment but it's been in decline for half a decade and Columbia is at an all time high. I don't think they make these decisions lightly and they know more than ATRL about music business.

I wish Halsey the best!

She was always gonna sign to another major instantly one underwhelming project (as if the movie was ever more than something for the hard core fans) is not really much of a stain compared to her career so far. She’s had hits every era pretty much.
