y'all are gonna hate me but holy **** aged like MILK for me so i really really really really hope it's better 😭😭😭😭

It hasn't aged to me at all but I can understand your point. I don't really listen to rock music on a regular basis so as a casual listener, rock music in general feels dated rather quickly to me. I guess the fact that it's a Demi album is helping in this case :lmao:

I just hope she ditches the punk and the early 2000s influences completely. Even though songs like SOMT, City of Angels and Substance are good and so fun to sing along, I find them a bit unoriginal and too predictable.

We need interesting rock productions and honestly, Oak could still surprise us in this sense. Bones and Eat Me are, in my opinion, the rock sound she should explore more.

The way holy beep was treated was disgusting. Always disrespecting her eras. I’m not expecting much!

One music video & a lazy 13 date tour. Zero play list etc

That's so interesting! The bit where you said you're a casual listener of rock. I'm an avid listener. Like 99% of what I listen to on the daily is rock! So I think that's made me mega picky and made me realise just how dated/messily produced some of the tracks on Holy **** sounded. I mean there's nostalgia with pop punk/pop rock-leaning songs but nostalgia can be done in a better way for sure.

I feel you about the interesting productions! Bones really grew on me. Very experimental. She needs to do experiment more!

oof she looks amazing!

I hope she’s back to her senses and is about to give us some bops

I used to be more into rock when I was younger but as I grew up, I became more interested in other genres like pop, alternative/indie pop, R&B and alt/R&B. Now thanks to Demi I've been listening to rock more often and discovering new rock artists.

She looks so ******* good, but I don't want anything similar to Holy ****... I hardly listen to it anymore and when I do the only track I go back to is 4 Ever 4 Me, like if I really wanna listen to the album I'll put it on but I skip a lot of tracks tbh. I just miss TMYLM era so much even DWTD...AOSO kind of. I just hope this next album is more classic rock if anything. Some of the songs on Holy **** we're pretty cringe, like SOMT, Wasted, Second verse of Happy Ending, and don't hate me because I know everyone loves Eat Me, but even that one the lyrics were a little try hard, and 4 Ever 4 Me, even though it's the one I listen to the second verse bothers me a little... idk lyrically it wasn't her best album in my opinion. Still love her but hopefully her new album is a step up from her last. It's a stretch but I really hope one day she goes back to R&B :dancehall:

I am curious, I really enjoy the rock stuff

Dx she went on a full tour what are you even on about and gave us at least 2 videos and is happy healthy and sober. She's made it pretty clear that she's over being a popstar and the charts. Let her be. As long as she's safe and OK and the music is good thats all that should matter tbh at the end of the day.

You mean serving vocals? Shes not going back to pop anytime soon. Stream her pop catalog if that's the case in the meantime

Oak was fine for Alessia's debut, but for her second album his productions sounded monotonous and kinda unispired

Um excuse but Nintendo Game, A Little More and Out Of Lonely are absolute gems

Surprisingly, Oak's work with Demi has been fairly diverse and their productions together doesn't sound similar to each other.

He went from songs like Sorry Not Sorry and Only Forever to The Art of Starting Over and then songs like Eat Me. They couldn't be more different from each other.

I guess it depends on the artist but he's a versatile producer.

I need Oak to stay away from this era, I can no longer stand his productions..
