did she not interpolate the bruno song....

Girl whut. Interpolation means you use aspects of an already existing song. Miley never did that :rip:

Y'all annoying af :rip: it's a 10 sec snippet, can we not?

how do you hear Angels Like You when the chord progression is much more like Brandi Carlile's The Joke :deadbanana2:

1. The song isn’t a ballad

 2.  Her best two performing songs from SOUR today are both Ballads, so anyone who think that would mean commercial failure doesn’t know what they’re talking about

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought so

More recently, the piano part reminds me of Kesha's Hate Me Harder

It's also a bit reminiscent of Adele's Easy on Me

She literally just played chords

Sounds like a bop. :WAP:

A Halloween ballad is coming!

Nnnnn... the comparisons have already started. :deadbanana2: If you listen closely, it sounds like "Dear John" played in reverse. :lakitu:

The snippet gave me a mix of Madison Beer's "Dangerous" and Miley's "Angels Like You". But I enjoy ballads so I guess I'll like this.

Actually this does prove that both are same

That user made a mistake. That red one should be placed after that timestamp. It will literally match

Check it :rip:

Although I want to clarify there is no problem in having same chord progression

That's what music is. People are too serious nowadays

Interesting if it's a ballad. :duca: I don't think it will, tho.

its funny to see people comparing a 15 sec piano snippet to every other song on the planet when we dont even know if thats all of it, it might just be a stem of the final instrumental for all we know. but its also funny to see her stans coming up with excuses as if this was unlike anything ever heard before

It does sound like angels like you, especially the last three notes. However, it's just that part. It doesn't mean the rest of the song is going to sound like ALY lol.

Do we know if the full song is a ballad or is it going to switch it up a lil bit?

The credits mentioned piano, electric guitar, drums, violin and viola. This is either a stadium power ballad or a pop rock song.

the way they already decided that she "failed" when the song isn't even out :deadbanana4:

I don't mind a ballad, honestly. Traitor + favorite crime are my most streamed tracks from sour.

she copied 30 songs in just 10 seconds according to stan twitter

if a 10 second snippet reminded people of so many songs (I've literally seen people mention at least 20 different songs) then either

1) none of these songs are original, they're all copying each other -> which means it shouldn't be a big deal

or

2) everyone accusing her of copying xyz are lying because there's no way she can copy so many songs in 10 seconds :toofunny3:
