Kern Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) maybe it's her "introduction to the era" Edited June 21, 2023 by the70s
Peep Show Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Y'all annoying af it's a 10 sec snippet, can we not?
truthteller Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 how do you hear Angels Like You when the chord progression is much more like Brandi Carlile's The Joke
BuzzCharts Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 1. The song isn’t a ballad 2. Her best two performing songs from SOUR today are both Ballads, so anyone who think that would mean commercial failure doesn’t know what they’re talking about

Taylor fanboy Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) Sounds like a bop. A Halloween ballad is coming! Edited June 21, 2023 by Taylor fanboy
vuelve88 Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Nnnnn... the comparisons have already started. If you listen closely, it sounds like "Dear John" played in reverse.
rivingtonrebel Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 The snippet gave me a mix of Madison Beer's "Dangerous" and Miley's "Angels Like You". But I enjoy ballads so I guess I'll like this.

Ger Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Interesting if it's a ballad. I don't think it will, tho.

#Beautiful Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 it sounds NOTHING like angels like you but i dont expect nothing less from atrl's brains
kyliefever2002 Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 its funny to see people comparing a 15 sec piano snippet to every other song on the planet when we dont even know if thats all of it, it might just be a stem of the final instrumental for all we know. but its also funny to see her stans coming up with excuses as if this was unlike anything ever heard before
thatsmydemi Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 It does sound like angels like you, especially the last three notes. However, it's just that part. It doesn't mean the rest of the song is going to sound like ALY lol. Do we know if the full song is a ballad or is it going to switch it up a lil bit?

The credits mentioned piano, electric guitar, drums, violin and viola. This is either a stadium power ballad or a pop rock song.

Baby Judas Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 I don't mind a ballad, honestly. Traitor + favorite crime are my most streamed tracks from sour.
