drivers license Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 hoping she pulls through in the UK, but i’m not expecting it. the 1.5k difference to #1 will haunt us livies forever
jijie101 Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 I don't think Speak Now tv will be as big as Red or Fearless tbh. It was not a huge era at the time and she kinda butchered the only big hit on the album(Enchanted).

Yeah only 6x platinum and eligible for 8?x I will certainly be much bigger than Fearless and most likely bigger than Red. At least initially But yeah I dont think Vampire will be blocked by it too long. Streams will be spread over the 22 songs

The other two tracks were playful and insouciant—indications, ***** said, of this album’s turn away from melancholy. On one, which brought to mind Le Tigre, Charli XCX, and the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack, Rodrigo careened toward an ill-advised and irresistible night with an ex. On the other, she sweetly wove a lyrical cat’s cradle about the impossible expectations that rest on idealized young women—the pressure to be sexy, thoughtful, funny, kind, inspirational, easygoing, endlessly grateful—and then ripped the threads apart on the chorus, flipping from Taylor Swift to Kathleen Hanna in a blink. I heard each song just twice, but the hooks are still ricocheting around my head. she’s gonna kill us Actually feel like the second single might be a ballad for a total change of pace since vampire (for a large part of the song) is still somewhat upbeat. But excited regardless.
drivers license Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 i’m not shocked she’d release another single before the release, but her teasing it this early worries me. it could either be good 4 u surprise from promo single to super smash OR, an HTE rollout situation

BuzzCharts Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Then next single will be nothing like vampire. She likes to switch up the sound even if the subject matter stays the same.
drivers license Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 yeah the next one definitely won’t be a ballad
Jude Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 I want a summer jam for the second single ala deja Vu. 1 1
BuzzCharts Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 #1 is locked hopefully she only drops to #2 next week but Taylor is coming hard 1
sxmescudi Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 regardless of how the singles perform (vampire is undeniably a smash hit already) the album will still be super huge. the success and longevity of SOUR shows that her audience appreciates a whole body of work 4
