I feel like most fans would prefer an Eras tour. A lot of fans go to concerts to hear classics and not usually the latest album (unless the artist happens to be smashing right now)

The eras success is specifically for Taylor, because of her huge and still growing fanbase, the build up of 4 studio albums from Lover to Midnights and the TVs.

 

Beyonce would’ve definitely created some similar hype if she toured after releasing the 3 album acts

 

But she still doesn’t have the tvs etc.

Every tour is basically an Eras tour with most of the songs being from the catalogs. The Eras concept is just so basic and lazy.

the Eras Tour only makes sense because Taylor released like 4 albums & 2 re-releases with new material. It’s not really about the hits from each era or each era being distinct, so I don’t think anyone could I think Taylor went to work with releasing music during quarantine unlike any other artist and it helped her. 
 

Of female artists right now, Beyoncé would be the closest but Renaissance/RWT is more about re-building her momentum during streaming. It would be more beneficial to Tour starting with Renaissance then add additional legs as acts are released if they are albums.

Artists whose catalogue are pulling abysmal streaming numbers definitely can’t do it. Taylor’s discography is adored by GP, that’s why you are seeing these record breaking demand and success everywhere.

Taylor herself doesn’t even have eras distinctive enough to have an “eras” tour. Rihanna is the only one.

Hmm I guess Rihanna or Gaga would be the best fit. Madonna’s discography is too extensive to dedicate a section to every album, and her and Bey usually put together songs that would match sonically, independently of which album they came from, which is more interesting imo.
