I don't think the problem is her label this time around. Even the girls who struggled with their labels were able to release some singles every now and then, and she's not even doing that

 

She already opened up about some personal issues related to her family and her insecurities as a solo artist with her debut album. Girl truly wanted a Lemonade-level moment with her debut and seems to take herself way too seriously when she should've just dropped a cute collection of bops just to get her name out there

It’s obviously a label problem. They’re the one telling her to go back to the drawing board, the result of that is the whole “perfectionist” talk she used to go on about. These 5 tracks are pretty much finished and ready to be released. She doesn’t call the shots of what comes out and what doesn’t, the label does that. 

 

It’s really delusional to assume the label isn’t holding her back when we’ve literally seen the same thing happen to Tinashe. And we’ve had proof that she was given a certain confirmation that her album was coming in 2022, but the label stopped her.
