Life Savers Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 This is clearly not meant for mass consumption. They're just testing the waters, but from the looks of it it's the best VR experience a company has offered so far. If things go their way it might be mainstream in ~5 years.

I’m not even interested in buying one (I’m not a fan of AR/VR in general, tbh). But, some of the criticisms in here make no sense. this. most of the criticisms in here are illogical, it's still very much in development. it'll get better as developers make functioning apps for the headset. my main concerns with this are the price, short battery life and potential usefulness. i don't see how this would be any better for me personally. some of the features are really cool though, such as having an immersive gaming and movie experience. i'd probably buy it in a few years after it's more developed and polished. i really feel like this could be a new huge innovation for the tech industry.

Pop Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 This is absolutely groundbreaking. It will take years, maybe even a decade, for this technology to mature and become part of our every day life but it’s shockingly good.

This is like when the first iPhone was announced and Palm Pro people claimed “it was already done” years ago It’s not the same babes

MatiRod Posted January 10 Posted January 10 This will flop, people don't want something like that covering their face

They're likely going to manufacture limited numbers of this until they can release a cheaper headset
