Morgan Wallen & Taylor Swift. The king and queen of country and the biggest “pop” stars in the USA atm if we believe the charts.

Music is dead and boring af.

Not to mention, it’s June and the charts are largely the same as they were in March. Creepin is still in the Top 10, while Anti Hero and Die For You are within striking distance.

Lil Durk just released a 21-track album, but people still want to stream Sunflower and Heat Waves.

Yeah, I don’t want anyone to be telling me that music is exciting and alive. If it is, then why are people streaming songs from 3-5 years ago?

People have always done this. It's just that the music consumption nowadays is much more transparent than it has ever been before.

Back in the day it would've been impossible to track if people were listening to their old records.

Do y’all ever journey outside of mainstream top 40 :rip:

There’s tons of amazing music released every week, by both new and veteran artists. Just because Z100 isn’t playing their singles doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, you are refusing to broaden your scope.

#1 after 32 weeks in not easy for an album already so successful in the first few months. :clap3:

Some albums with big first weeks were already charting at #129 in their 32nd week.  :dancehall3:

and number 1.

America definitely has a problem.

Also we have a black Spider-Man and a black mermaid at number 1 & number 2 at the box office. It’s getting weird.

Poor new user, cause you really have to suffer from Taylor’s immense success since the day 1  Also your first two post is already making delusional slander shows how miserable your real life is:heart:

She is truly insane. Bigger than many mpg's first week sales. :clap3:

I cannot believe she is in her 3rd peak in terms of sales :jonny6:

And to think that she may still have at least a couple more in her before her career starts to decline  :giraffe:

TS11 will smash base on hype of midnights, eras tour, breakup/Matty controversy, that will be another 1m week

TS12 will be just moderate hit so i guess 700k 1st week only and she will be seen as over

And then TS13 is gurantee to smash just because of the number 13 hype alone lol, another 1m opening week.

My god this album is such an event. Is it going to be her fastest album to reach diamond?

Sadly no, because the Backstreet Boys reached 10 million in 39 weeks.

Oh sorry love heheeh I didn't see that.

In that case, yes, I think Midnights will likely be her fastest to 10mil.

Midnights deserves this, it aged like fine wine. All the news of the past months give a new perspective to this album.
