Armani? Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 https://twitter.com/FilmUpdates/status/1663997139666493442 I'm thinking Miles Brown from the show "Blackish" should get this role. He's Afro Latino & his name is Miles

Cheers Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Someone new. Time to give an afro-latino upcomer a shot

Happylittlepunk Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Give a new Afro latino boy a shot. Keep him loyal to the source material.

Scars Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Hopefully the part will go for a black latino, not a random african american actor.

Blade Runner Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 (edited) Emma Watson. No, but seriously, the role screams Jharrel Jerome for me. Afro-Latino from Dominican descent who starred in the Oscar winning "Moonlight" and won an Emmy for "When They See Us". Like what else do you want? Edited June 2, 2023 by Blade Runner

Ok but Tom started the role when he was 20 as the youngest ever to play a MCU role? Jharell is already 25(turning 26 this year), when the 1st movie is trying to depict Miles as likely a older teenager (slightly younger on script) and younger than Peter Parker By the time they start filming he'll be closer to 30 before the 1st live action movie even comes out He's a great actor, but he's outgrowing the role. If they're going to cast them they need to hurry up

Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 (edited) Honestly Marvel should start casting unknown new talent. Like they have kinda with America Chavez and Riri Williams, and Kathryn Newton to a lesser extent. But I think they are running out of mega movie stars and the Gen z marvel fans need new faces and talent to latch onto. also like 90% of fancast are always horrible. It’s why I kinda hope miles and the fantastic 4 and X-men are all brand new actors. Obviously they should have experience and credits, but I am tired of people just picking actors that blow up on Netflix and suddenly want them in the MCU. Like there is a whole industry of struggling actors that could act better and look the role more then twitter fancast Edited June 2, 2023 by Gorjesspazze9

If they're going to cast them they need to hurry up Jharrel can still pull off being a teenager. Let him lose some weight and cut the facial hair. Look at him in the “I’m A Virgo” trailer for example. He still has a very young-looking face. It’s always about what you depict on film, not what you actually are. Older actors portraying teenagers isn’t a new practice.

EtherealCat Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 he looks like the animation and is called miles, why even speculate
