This is just so ironic being that the US was founded by literally mass murdering indigenous people. This is why no one can take the US and Americans seriously. Calling immigrants “illegal aliens” but calling Christopher Colombus an explorer, having a whole day dedicated to him and slave owners “founding fathers”.

 

The filthy and diseased Europeans killed off many indigenous folks just cause off of illnesses and he wanna talk about “don’t come here if you’re sick”. 😂

 

the naturalization of a US citizen was the recognize freed slaves as human beings. I wonder since the 13th amendment legalizes slavery via the prison system, will children of prisoners not be naturalized citizens either? Hmm

They didn’t need luck with Roe v. Wade, so only time will tell.

Republicans are fine amending the constitution if it benefits their agenda. Isn’t our supreme court also primarily conservative

Attempting to alter the constitution in this way, regardless if you are for it or against it, would completely dismantle our current system of democracy. Probably signal the end of America as THEE global super power.

 

I think Roe being overturned is a valid comparison but I think counting that as a win for Republicans is misguided in that the political consequences have yet to be realized.

Yep, 2016/2020 they dipped their toes into extreme beliefs but now for 2024 they're no holds barred seeing now they can get away with most of it and not lose and even gain voters.
