KingKhalid Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 I don’t understand why the black lead Spider-Man is animated and not live action… did they not think it would be this successful? They’re protecting Perdue chicken Tom Holland I suppose

The same can be said about the Venom movies despite the fact that they are tied to MCU. You good now? Edited May 31, 2023 by Domination

The animated was also produced by Marvel Entertainment. that pathetic excuse for “no confusion” is sick they didn’t think it would make money - now that it did they are making a live action. it’s very transparent

Spiderverse works only because of the animation. Now, will the live action remake make loads of money? Of course! Will it be anywhere near the animated OG? Hell no! The more Miles the better though! 2

The real question is are they willing to budget a 400 million dollar movie for a black lead actor. The answer is simply- Well considering a $400 million movie would be the fourth most expensive film of all time and still wouldn’t come close to what they’ve been able to do with animation… probably not. I don’t know why you’re dead set on arguing when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about (the ATRL way, I guess) but that’s enough for me
