The MCU’s Newest Smash Movie Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 has gross more on Memorial Day than Fast X.  Christ Pratt’s  “ Star-Lord” has Now Secured $743M in under a month  :wanda: Was the Internet Wrong again about Fatigue for the Top Block-Buster Franchises in Hollywood?

GOTG 3 Memorial Day Gross: 6M

Fast X 2nd week Memorial Day Gross: 5.5M

Rocket Racoons Movie is projected to meet its $930M at the WW box office by the end of its Theatrical release

Fast X is officially the 3rd biggest movie of the year. Even with stiff competition, Marvel takes another W:wanda:They just won’t lose

The MCU top brass should be worried James Gunn is now teeing up the next iteration of their biggest competitor tbh.

I hope James does tear up the DCU in a good way. Maybe thisll be the wakeup call for Kevin to stop sitting on their laurels and start lengthening and tightening their storyboard and production processes.

All their shows have great ideas and concepts but flounder due to restrictions (Moon Knight should be R18+), show length (She Hulk having to juggle lawyer comedy and superhero stuff should be at least 50 min-1 hr long) or overstuffing plot lines (Thor 4 shouldve been all about Gorr, Jane Thor should be Thor 5. The Clandestines were completely irrelevant to Ms. Marvel's core story.)

100% agreed. Gunn’s approach to storyboarding / scripts is the way to go; admittedly it does help that he has a pretty much blank canvas to work with while the MCU is so unwieldy with so much announced that it seems to be flying by the seat of its pants atm.
