The Weeknd, Playboi Carti & Madonna - "Popular"

Honestly I never expected to hear Madonna on Top 40 radio this year. But here she is at 64. She sounds so much better on this and Vulgar then she has in years.

I like it! Madonna’s verse should’ve been longer but at least she sounds good.

I’ve had it on repeat since it came out 🦜

However I see it’s not doing as well as I thought it would yet

Her best song in YEARS. Abel could save the next Madonna album

Oh wow

Um I LOVE this

So catchy and smooth. I didn't expect this sound. Madonna doesn't shine through much outside of the outro but she does sound good in the background and in her short verse.

Props to The Weeknd. He's been releasing tons of music for a very long time and it hasn't gotten stale.

I did not expect to like it but here were are

Madonna should keep doing this type of music it fits her best

This sounds like a early 2000s pharell production. And Madonna's vocals are the best she has delivered in a long time. Even if this flops it's already a win

I love it! It's so smooth and feel-good!

My bf is a Madonna and Th Weeknd stan but he is not buying it :skull:

Madonna literally being there for like two seconds.

It's not bad but it seems like she was so scared to do more.

What?! She literally does the intro, her verse, plus she sings the second and the final chorus along Abel.

Maybe I should clean my ears and listen to it again.

Does this have potential to chart on the Hot 100?

It will obviously chart, I would say that top 40 it’s a given.

But if everything goes really well it could go higher

I'm just glad that Madonna has such a strong presence in 2023 (not as a legacy act)
