and the last scene with her and a man at the piano... looks it was supposed to allude to joe but they had to cut that out and instead we got a long ass shot of the coffee cup :skull:

What’s the meaning of the clock on the coffee?

it's 11:57 so prepare for Midnights (Three Minutes Til Midnight Edition) with more songs that trash Joe

i need someone to analyze the specific visual references as it relates to taylor's career/past

the 2nd look just made me think of a certain satanist lookalike

I think Look What You Made Me Do was referenced with that (the black outfits are very similar to that robotic girl squad scene) and then it goes into ME! with the bright colors right after.

I thought so too. The way the shot suddenly got blurred out as they panned to the man :deadbanana4:

Also, I'm not entirely sure that that woman carrying the cup of coffee was Taylor

Ending of the midnights era I'm guessing since it strikes 12

Would have been nice to get Midnight Rain as a 4th single (especially since Midnights will likely be up for grammies next year) but oh well. I had a feeling that's what it meant too.

This was pretty great actually! Ice Spice looked very out of place though, she has zero charisma and acting skill :deadbanana2: it was especially obvious during the boat scene. I know she's very new to all this though, so I'm gonna give her a pass for the time being.

Tbh, it's probably an MV for the Speak Now TV era.

Best video of the era. Still don't know what to feel on Ice Spice's verse.

Too on the nose, that’s why I wish it’s for Midnights instead.

This video is Taylor’s best directing effort yet… one of her best MVs. Every shot is gorgeous I’m addicted :WAP: My multi-talented empress :WAP:

The video is gorgeous, but the remix still doesn’t work.
