That's been every award show for over a decade.

That's why Taylor makes sure to dance and pretend to be interested in every performance. Because she knows that she is going to be used in almost every reaction shot and she doesn't want to get attacked for being bored. In contrast, other artists like Ice Spice, Annita etc are on their cellphones for at least half of the show ( I don't blame them but it looks cringe on television).

yeah, i knew that. I was shocked beasue the camera man was so close :skull: very invasive

Why LL Cool J always at these tributes did he even make noise like that back in the day? I feel like his acting career is what he's more known for. Drag me old people idc

I’m not even 30 and the answer is yes. Look up his GAP/Fubu ad.

Yeah idk why she's being so secretive about it like she clearly. Wanna keep it a secret be private and stop doing all these events

No one is forcing you to keep watching. You over it then change the damn channel tf acting like someone gotta gun to your head

She'll be more than fine. She avoided to sophomore slump, dropped a great album and is going on tour. She'll be alright

Yeah those awkward ass dorito inspired skits that they're calling performances are not it. Why are you booking people to do multiple performances and only let them sing half of their songs it's kind of a slap in the face to the artist

We live in a current climate where not allowing someone to carry themselves in such a way would be deemed **** shaming, kink shaming, regressive, outdated, gatekeeping, micromanaging etc it's annoying as **** 😒 people trying to live their real life to reflect Euphoria

It is still very much an award show because theirs nominations and literal awards still being given away and earned tf are you on. The VMAs are suppose to be an EVENT go to TikTok if you don't have the patience or attention span.

Yeah now that Tinashe is signed to a label they need to get her out their to tv shows award performances as either a presenter or pre show performer she is long overdue for her moment.

This post.

Cardi left right after her performance surrounded by security lol, so sadly no

Is she the only artist with security? Idk why y’all keep on making this a big deal.

Just watched stray shits performance and MTV literally could have had Tinashe walk out on stage and stand perfectly still for three minutes in her see through dress and it would have been a better use of the time slot.

You’re welcome papi ❤️

That tribute was a MESS. Wayne, Nicki and LL were the only ones who had polish in their performances. All the other men were just shouting into the mic

That was good but it was pretty much the exact same thing the Grammys did

Posted

the first 4 hour VMAs & 80% of it was performers by D listers

Some of y'all do the most on these K-Pop acts... at least they served some serious choreo.

LL was one of the first crossover rap artists having his first hit in 1987.
