That's why Taylor makes sure to dance and pretend to be interested in every performance. Because she knows that she is going to be used in almost every reaction shot and she doesn't want to get attacked for being bored. In contrast, other artists like Ice Spice, Annita etc are on their cellphones for at least half of the show ( I don't blame them but it looks cringe on television).

And attitudes like Ice Spice and Anitta are rewarded accordingly. You're at an award show be engaged because if they were served the same energy it'd be a problem for sure
