The show will be at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and be broadcast on various Paramount Global channels at 8pm EDT. This will be the 40th edition of the VMAs and the 3rd time it takes place at the venue/state. Nominations were revealed on August 8th, with Taylor Swift leading the count with 8 nominations.
