My apologies for the double posting, but since this thread is surprisingly dead, I had no choice.

Serve MPB please. I know he could absolutely demolish with a more forward-thinking visual & musical direction. The retro thing served him well but is getting old.

Imagine if he serves an Abel-quality concept era with his choreo, vocals, and ear for hooks. He has so many huge huge songs, but he’s never really had an iconic pop culture moment imo. If he delivers on that, he will be a touring MONSTER.

Manifesting it so hard! :alexz:

The insider's claims that “Bruno has taken some time away to develop a new look and sound following the success of his last few projects" has me beyond thrilled. He has everything to truly consolidate himself as a pop icon beyond just a charismatic hitmaker with killer stage presence, and if he plays his cards right, this album could be it. Would be amazing to witness!

And yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. His main iconic pop culture moment right now is probably the dance-off with Beyoncé at the 2016 Super Bowl (Bey's presence definitely helping make it as memorable as it was), but while his other live performances have been consistently excellent and highly entertaining, he's capable of delivering something even grander.

Really looking forward to what he has in store!

He's pretty much already starting a massive (pre)tour this year, stadiums in Asia in June and then festivals in Brazil and a stadium show in Chile in September.

His touring schedule is pretty random, he's been touring and performing pretty consistently ever since the 24k Magic Tour ended (and obviously with a break due to Covid). He does his Vegas residency, Silk Sonic residency, performs at random MGM theatres and venues around the US, festival shows, and did a tour of Australia, Japan, and the Middle East last year :rip:

Very curious to see with where he's going with this next era.

I feel like Rih and him exists on very similar timelines. Whenever she releases, Bruno always releases during the same year or next. I remember this as Bruno blocked stay from #1 back then during the unapologetic era. And during the ANTi era he released his 3rd album and snatched all the Grammys.

It’s good to have him back though! I hope queen Rih releases too in this time span, cannot imagine waiting >2 more years for R9…

His music wasn't good until he started copying older sounds, and he did it very well with 24k and Silk Sonic. So I for one would be happy if he kept it up.

But I'm perched either way. He'll smash for sure whenever he decides to release given the charts feel a bit dead right now?
