It's just too monumental, it does NOT feel like an album that topped the chart for only 5 weeks. Yeah it definitely deserves more. She could bag one or two more at least if she dropped 3am physicals whenever At least it looks like it’ll stay in the top 10 for quite some time - and perhaps Lover will keep racking up weeks, which would be awesome. It always felt ‘wrong’ that after 1989/Fearless’ 55+ weeks each, her next highest was Lover/folklore with each around 20 weeks.

pride4jc1222 Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 What an awful Top 10. EBS behind Flowers and KB? Anti-Hero in the Top 10? I can't wait for Lil Durk to shake this up in 2 weeks. 3

There's no reason why these songs should be outlasting much newer songs like Boy's a Liar and Un x100to. We're almost in June, and about half the songs that were in the Top 10 at the beginning of March are still there. Edited May 22, 2023 by pride4jc1222

Perhaps the reason is GP not moving on from the same ancient songs and, by default, charts are just going to represent that reality.
Alfred Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Days after winning Songwriter of the Year from ASCAP, Dr. Luke is back at the top of the charts with "All My Life" by Lil Durk & J. Cole. Is he coming for that #1 spot?
KatyPrismSpirit Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 So legendary omg. Imagine still debuting top 2 and scoring #1s 20 years into your career as a producer 4
professor2000 Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 I mean…he knows how to play the game. Hate it or love it. I do feel some kinda way that he’s using Black folks to climb his way back to the top though. The switch from Pop to Rap was very strategic. But that’s a whole ‘nother thread…lol.
