She WAS local for like 70% of her career, and is only now becoming more and more global so ofc people had the right calling her that :rip:

2006-2013 (39% of her career) she was irrelevant in mainland Europe.

She’s been smashing in Oceania, North America & SE Asia since 2008 (89% of her career)

She’s always had a wide reach minus one or two key markets :giraffe:

It was announced by Universal Music Brazil, but never updated on that website. A bunch of other popstars experienced the same, that site is not updated.

Ariana queen of Asia! :soda:And that's with her being out of the spotlight more than anyone else mentioned.

It's because Universal Music and PMB are two separate entities. The certifications given out by UMB are never posted on the PMB website but instead their Facebook/Instagram pages.

'they act like she's global since day 1' nobody said that and nobody expects her to smash worldwide with a local genre, but its all of u trying to discredit her achivements since the very day 1 of her career with this same lame ass reason.

Also yall keep saying 'some three years old market' just bcs they're third world countries and their music industry didnt develop for very long is extremely racist and white-centerism.

Actually Fearless made some noises in other English countries, also Asia. She used to be a small name in mainland Europe but rn she charted more than 5 albums in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium etc and shes top female artist in many countries, the only place thats not very into her atp is France but Midnights is her best performing release here.

This kind of growth in her popularity only relys on her music quality which leads to her 17 year career relevancy otherwise she already long dropped by public and worldwide music market somewhere before.

Low-key surprised Taylor isn’t top three in the USA. I’ve stanned her in the UK since Speak Now but I’ve always noticed other brits hating on her. Folklore and onwards seemed to be the turning point (that I noticed anyway) here.

Knew she was global but really surprised not top three in USA! Thought she had you guys in a chokehold.
