TanjiroKamado Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 (edited) Im from central Europe and Im wondering if this is an American thing bc I dont know anyone whos NB nor have I read about NB locals online. Im from a city with 2 million people and its odd theres no NB here when in America theyre everywhere. Edited May 19, 2023 by TanjiroKamado
zach Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 (edited) I know a few, not sure how many, but I’m NB as well. And I’m Canadian btw. Edited May 19, 2023 by zach
zach Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 Also it’s clearly not an American thing when Sam Smith, who is British, is NB. But you probably already knew that.
illia Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 I'm Eastern European and I know none Probably due to the homophobia and the fact that nonbinary pronouns don't work well with most Slavic languages (at least the one of my country) 1
Trent W Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 Personally no one, but friends of friends. The person in the op is a woman that escaped north korea and not non-binary btw 1

Beyonnaise Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 (edited) Two of my acquaintances from college were butch lesbians but are now both they/them non-binary, and I have a she/they NB friend at work. I don't know any male-to-NB besides ones I've seen on social media/Grindr. Edited May 19, 2023 by Beyonnaise
CBC Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 me + 2 people but nobody does the pronoun bs, just doesnt work in our language. All three of us use all pronouns with 1 preferring she/her 1
byzantium Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 I would say about 6. I can think of 5 off the top of my head and am probably forgetting someone.

WEEKND Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 0 its not very popular in the black community I think but I’m sure they exist. i just always keep it cute when it comes to that topic. People are either too sensitive or too insensitive.
Cruel Summer Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 Two personally, though I'm aware of a few others through local connections. It's not "everywhere" in the US, though - if it feels that way, it's probably because of certain conservative voices hyperfixating on people who are just trying to live their lives, and because of social media like TikTok making small communities more visible.
