I think Taylor’s peak in the US both times were bigger than Gaga. 1989 and Fearless both were inescapable in a way that I don’t think TF/TFM we’re here. But WW,  Gaga is definitely bigger.

can you please explain why? 

i never said that gaga hasn't used gimmicks. she used them a lot, however that fan was acting as if taylor hasn't used similar / the same strategies to boost sales and chart positions.

Taylor used "similar strategies" yet outsold her multiple times over here  Interesting
