Its the kind of thing to keep an eye on but age gap doesn't immediately equate to predator. I think people over simplify this topic. I honestly think comparing to hetero relationships is apples & oranges, the dynamics of a man/women Vs man/man often have differences.

The 18-year-old is old enough to make his own decisions and mistakes. Maybe his parents can try to reason with him, everyone else should mind their business (although of course he's asking for it talking about his relationship publicly).
