305 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Even though I've never watched any of these, it's wild how streaming services can just remove them and have them disappear completely.
Zeferino Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Mess even tho I don’t watch those titles 1 minute ago, 305 said: it's wild how streaming services can just remove them and have them disappear completely.
Solaria Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 I’m kinda afraid they’re gonna be cutting on the Star tv shows like HIMYM.. those licensing costs gotta be a ton
Eternium Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 I mean, they all needed to go so this is a good decision.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 I love my Hulu, even tho I honestly rarely use it anymore. But I still never cancel my subscription.

Looks like I have less than a week to do it now This is so unfortunate. 35 minutes ago, Blue Monday said: This is why physical media is so important I've started buying DVDs again for the first time in probably 10 years and I wish I never stopped. The constant removal of media on streaming sites has just reached a point where I decided going back to physical for certain things is the best scenario.

Thankfully I've always been someone who has made a point to buy DVDs and Blu Rays. There's a record store by my apartment that has a ton for cheap; I love going and flicking through for hours and walking out with a bunch. These streaming services are too unstable and I just don't trust them
futurenostalgic Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 ppl should just go back to cable. (i never cut the cord lol)
Alldeezy Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 dont care for hulu since it's not in my country, but THEY better not on disney+ nobody can afford that netflix crap.
Johnny Jacobs Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 they have barely 20 shows and they cut from that too??
poki Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 WHAT is happening at Disney Y'all they even got rid of the behind the scenes movie for Lightyear. Pixar content actually got removed from Disney+ https://gizmodo.com/disney-plus-hulu-removals-full-list-1850482457
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Read somewhere they removed their own content because they want to licence it to other streaming services, but some specific titles (like the one on the OP) just doesn't make sense lmao. I had still to finish the last season from Future Man
elevate Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Yeah, they're following WB's lead and trying to save on residual paychecks. It sucks. I imagine spending will be way down in the next 2 years or so, especially with the strike. The industry is very short-sighted atm.
commander Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 It’s all about residuals. The same happened with a lot of animated shows on HBO because nobody was watching them.
Europe Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 When they remove shows they can use them as tax write-offs. We can expect more of these removals to happen accross all streaming platforms.
Iridesence Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Yeah someone needs to intervene with this tax-ride off scheme. It's such a loophole To be honest I just looked through the whole list here and couldn't recognise a title, so none of these are really a loss for me, thankfully.
