This performance made me realise how one of the twins is CARRYING this vocally.

Okay I just listened to every song, and this year definitely seems like a step down from last year. There's nothing that immediately HITS like Tattoo, Cha Cha Cha, Unicorn, Queen Of Kings, and Break A Broken Heart.

Too many countries seem to be trying to emulate Cha Cha Cha in doing something weird just for the sake of it. CCC worked last year cuz it was actually good.

Germany, Poland, and Ireland will be competing for last place.

The three best songs are Firefighter, Loop, and Liar. The only true BOPS of the year. I don't know why y'all are sleeping on them. Loop is MADE for a dance breakdown, let's see if Sarah can deliver following the Noaprint :alexz:

Switzerland is good, I'll be happy if it wins. Croatia and Netherlands…. Yuck.

That Rave song is extremely overrated. Get into Georgia and Malta instead!

Switzerland televote results:
2023: 31 (18th)
2022: 0 (26th)
2021: 165 (6th)
2019: 212 (5th)
2014: 114 (7th)
2011: 2 (25th)
2006: 30 (16th)
2005: 125 (8th)

I don't see The Code receiving over 200 points…

I understand what you're getting at with this but other than 2021, I don't think any of their recent entries have been a potential shoe-in as a winner? I know they came 3rd in 2021 but I understood that to be a bit of a surprise with heavier hitters coming below them (I feel like the rest of the top 10 below it that year were bigger contenders?) but Nemo is up there in hype and the odds. I think with a casual watcher/voter The Code will resonate more than Rim Tim Tagi Dim.

Norway is very underrated imo. Won't be surprised if they get another lower top 10 result like they usually get

They could equally be given the EAEA/Fulenn treatment and NQ

They need to ban odds and make the rehearsals private and prevent leakage of them.

That would be a show :clap3:

You're right actually, and those 3 are MALTA, GEORGIA, and CYPRUS.

Armenia is such a blast. It never fails to put a smile on my face. Deserves top 3, along with Italy and Austria.

San Marino, Greece and Finland can rot in the bottom 3.

With Kosovo most likely joining the the Council of Europe in 11 days and thus being eligible for EBU membership, it seems like we're going to get a debut next year

People are sleeping on Armenia. :celestial6:

Both they and Georgia deserve to qualify! They may be the best female "bops" of the year. :clap3:

The lyrics of the Georgian entry remain atrocious though. :rip:

Kaleen and Sarah Bonnici skipping Barcelona Pre-Party to perform at G-A-Y & Heaven with Drag Race queens instead. Probably the better promo tactic ngl!
