abelfenty Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 I could see Angelina win both the jury and the televote but some of you aren't ready for that conversation 1 1

We are yet to see stagings tho and that will make or break some of the current favourites.

Geolier sang in a local dialect and people from that area voted for him. Not because the liked the song, but the liked he sang in their dialect. Regionalism in Italy is very strong, particularly in the south , where Geolier is from. 1

Pendulum Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Am I the only one who feels indifferent to La Noia? Like, it's a cute summer pop song but what winning qualities do you see in it? 1

Geolier's song was the #1 most streamed song after Sanremo (still #5 on Spotify rn) and he currently has two songs in the Top 5 with also over 2M monthly listeners coming from Milan alone. Space Cowboy Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Daily reminder that Zorra is coming for bottom 3 1 1 2
Hurem Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Croatian fans are getting so obnoxious, my god Suddenly they're pushing this theory of Baby Lasagna being sabotaged because he's a cis white straight man (a response to Nemo taking over in the odds) I want my country to win so bad, but I just know we'd become universally hated because of how brave these idiots would get online.

Do you have any more tea on the staging? It's kinda over for him it it is really remaining the same.. His vocals and overall stage presence did improve at the preparty which is a good sign that's he's working on it but I am starting to be fearful that the juries might actually pay it absolute dust and there's gonna be severe meltdowns come May. RTDM isn't my absolute favourite but I support a Croatia win so I wanna see him well, or even so HRT can develop as a great NF with quality after having a genuine success in the contest again
Pendulum Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I'm in Tirana for a few days and it's a cute city, it would make an amazing Eurovision host. Besa, do you thing, miss thing! 1
BOOM! Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I have a feeling that she will be a big surprise. She is so talented and beautiful. Armenia definitely becoming one of my faves.

It is more or less the same staging from Dora, but adjusted for the bigger stage. The biggest change being additional guitar player + techno part won't be one long shot, but lots of dynamic cuts on beat (including shots of audience doing the choreo). Backdrops will have national fabric, and cats might do the actual choreo. From what I've gathered, they've shifted focus on trying to get Lasagna to work the camera better, instead of looking away during close ups
OnlyManInTheWorld Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 What the hell is that Swiss song and why is he sampling Florence Foster Jenkins? 2

Anthinos Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Even if she ends up in the bottom 5, Zorra is still one of the best songs of the year Armenia is finally getting some love They are so underrated! 3
