I feel confident in saying it has a way better chance at winning than Croatia. I think the only thing that might resonate with the juries is when he makes it even more personal on stage. That's the only different thing about this song. It's not just fun and games; it has this serious note to it.

Lil Mxnster Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 It's not even my Top 3 but Croatia is the current winner right now. I can see public and juries voting for him and I'm fine with it. RTTD is meaningful and enjoyable, Baby Lasagna is kind of charismatic, a Balcan country winning would be iconic and, last but not less, Cha Cha Cha would be revenged as well 2
Anthinos Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 I think I like the idea of a Croatian victory more than the song. RTTD is not bad but somehow it doesn't quite click with me. I think Europapa has more quality. I just hope Ukraine doesn't win. Nothing against Ukraine but I would prefer a country that has never won.
Bloodflowers. Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 I don't know why Czechia is so low, she has a BANGER. People judge her performance on that tiny bunker stage as if she's gonna serve that mess for Eurovision we don't know how Belgium or Switcherland will stage theirs, but are so high on the odds when they have much weaker songs than Pedestalsus
Komet Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 The Luxembourg revamp is worse than original It somehow sounds more like a demo, and it's so lifeless. That big drum sound in the chorus being replaced by a measly thud, plsss
brraap Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Huh??? In other words f*** your cause imma sing? coward 1
alexjealexje Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Why would he drop out ? It's a huge opportunity…. 13
punisher Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 god i hate people with a mindset like this, "removing myself won't bring together our shared goal" like of course your irrelevant ass won't bring a ceasefire he's missing the wholeee message 10 1
PoisonPill Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 (edited) Some context would be helpful here for those not following this… also: "Queers for Palestine" Edited March 29, 2024 by PoisonPill 8
Saint James Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 idk i kinda see the point. they want people to speak out. by doing eurovision he has a bigger platform to share the message. the only bigger thing they could do is cancel the whole event which clearly isn't happening 1 1
ForgottenSoul Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 (edited) Why should he drop out like what? I also doubt Queers for Palestine are actually Palestine people. Edited March 29, 2024 by ForgottenSoul 2 2 5
Illuminati Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Wouldn't the UK just send someone else instead of him? 1
Jon Snow Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 if everyone who condemns the genocide decides to boycott, then the genocide supporters would be getting the platform 1 1 1
alp Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 it's a huge opportunity for him. why would he withdraw just because some wokes said so 2 1 3 9
perpetual novice Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 drop out for what? so eurovision is full of pro israel voices instead? critical thinking is not there 6 1
State of Grace. Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 (edited) Talk about missing the point I know that he was reposting stuff about the genocide months ago, but this is just a "sorry luvs my career is more important". Also, anyone thinking EBU will actually allow contestants to make a statement on stage is delulu'd as hell. It will be a "PEACE FOR ALL! LUV ISRAEL and PALESTINE! NO ONE SHOULD DIE! <3333" message while they're wearing small pins at best, and they can keep it. It'd be a much bigger statement if ALL contestants withdrew.
